InterviewBoss operates an AI-powered interview preparation and recruitment platform in Bangladesh, serving job seekers, expatriate workers, and employers. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. By using InterviewBoss, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Identity & contact. Your full name and phone number (used for account creation and OTP verification), and optionally your job type, experience, and education.

Voice & interview data. Audio recordings from practice and live AI interviews, automatically generated transcripts, and AI-generated scores, keyword analysis, and performance evaluations.

Payment information. Transaction reference numbers, your subscription type, and payment history. We do not store mobile-banking PINs, passwords, or full account numbers.

Device & usage. Device type, operating system, app version, uploaded job descriptions, completed interview rounds and scores, city-level location, access timestamps, and error reports.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver AI interview prep, mock interviews, voice coaching, and feedback
• Conduct and score live AI interviews for employers (recruiter plans)
• Process payments
• Send SMS or push notifications about your service
• Improve our AI models and Bangla voice recognition using anonymised data
• Meet our legal obligations in Bangladesh

4. Voice recordings and audio retention

Voice data is critical for our AI mock interviews. We process your audio recordings to generate transcripts and score reports. We retain raw audio for up to 90 days after your subscription ends or account deletion request to allow profile backup. You can delete individual session audio files at any time via your account settings.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Employers: If you take a live AI interview initiated by a recruiter, your scores, transcript, and audio profile are shared with that employer.
• Service providers: Trusted entities helping us operate (SMS gateways, hosting services, payment processors).
• Law enforcement: If required by Bangladeshi laws or official directives.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we keep session history for 90 days. If you request account deletion, we purge your data within 14 days, except transaction logs required for audit.

7. Security measures

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to personal database profiles is strictly restricted to authorized staff. Audio files are stored in secure cloud containers with time-limited signed access URLs.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, export, or correct your personal data. You may also request deletion of your account. Contact us at privacy@interviewboss.net.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are for job seekers at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
